The Chairman’s Message

Being Chairman of Women of the Year is truly an honour – an honour to play an important role in an organisation which celebrates the ‘extraordinary’ in real women. Women who are mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers; women from all walks of life, all countries and all professions and a huge variety of jobs – exceptional women whose lives inspire us all.

My dream is to see Women of the Year grow even stronger; taking the founders’ vision to more and more women who, in turn, can spread the word and inspire others to make a difference – a difference to themselves, to their neighbours, to their communities, to their countries, to the world.

I want to further raise the profile of Women of the Year such that it’s the only lunch in town worth going to, the only lecture in town worth listening to and the only network in town that truly feeds, nourishes and cares for its members – those real and ordinary women who achieve such extraordinary things.
