Hatta has been the editor of House & Garden magazine since 2014. She arrived at the magazine as features editor in 2006, and became the deputy editor in 2013. Hatta studied History of Art and Architecture, and has also worked as an interior designer, as well as a two-year stint for the South African edition of House & Garden whilst living in Cape Town. House & Garden showcases the best in international design and decoration from around the world. Its influence extends to its website, houseandgarden.co.uk .
