Details of the event & what to wear

This invitation-only event will be held on Monday 7th October at the Royal Lancaster London, Lancaster Terrace, London, W2 2TY from 11:45am – 3.45pm.

Travelling to the Royal Lancaster London by rail/tube

The nearest railway station is Paddington.
The nearest tube is Lancaster Gate, which is on the Central Line, the hotel is two minutes’ walk from the tube station.

Dress code

The dress code is smart daywear. Armed services are encouraged to wear uniforms. The preference for sportswomen is not to wear their sports attire but do please wear medals.

Running order

• 11.45am – Join us for a drinks reception in the Nine Kings Foyer. Please bring photo ID for guest registration.
• 12.20pm – Seated for lunch.
• 12.30pm – Speeches from our host, Mel Giedroyc, and President, Baroness Grey-Thompson DBE, DL.
• 12.45pm – A two course meal will be served.
• 2pm – Women of the Year Awards ceremony commences.
• 3.45pm – The lunch will draw to a close. Guests are welcome to move into the Nine Kings Foyer for cupcakes and cocktails, tea and coffee will also be served.
• 5.30pm – Close
