Ayesha Aslam

Ayesha Aslam, a pioneer, is the Director and founder of Sakoon Counselling Services. She is a multi-award winning Systemic Therapist, accredited Psychotherapist, Supervisor and an international speaker.

She has over 15 years of experience working with diverse issues from counselling to more severe psychological issues.  Has had her research published and teaches on the impact of culture, religion in mental Health, writes articles in magazines, provided workshops to organisations and appears on radio/TV channels providing support and advice on key issues and not afraid to challenge Taboos.

She was the only Muslim who was invited to speak at the Global Mental Health Summit 2018 where she attended houses of Parliament to drive Mental Health and policy change.  A keynote speaker at various conferences including Training Muslim Chaplains and Imams in the UK.

Today Sakoon has 20 counsellors, 5 trainers, accredited training courses and clients as far as Phoenix Arizona and Australia.
