Caroline Roberts-Simcock
Tactical Flight Officer at the National Police Air Service
Caroline (Caz) is an experienced Police Officer with over 23 years in the Police service. From 1999 to 2012, Caz worked as a response officer in North Wales, and during that time, despite witnessing harrowing and testing situations, she became a highly respected colleague and a role model for aspiring new female Police officers. During her service Caz has received several accolades, including bravery awards and commendations, for her tenacity during investigations.
For the last 10 years, Caz has worked as a Tactical Flight Officer on the Police helicopter, now part of the National Police Air Service (NPAS). Caz is a highly skilled airborne systems operator, a job she dreamed of doing from the very first day she joined the police. Once in post, she quickly attained her City & Guilds qualification as a training officer and is a leading light in promoting NPAS, encouraging female and male officers alike to strive for their goal in joining the helicopter base.
