Dame Katherine Grainger DBE
The first British woman to win medals at five successive Olympic games and at the time of writing, the joint ‘Most decorated British Female Olympian’ with equestrian Charlotte Dujardin. Her outstanding 20-year rowing career was recognised with a Damehood in the 2017 honours list. A graduate of The University of Glasgow, she is currently their first female Chancellor and the Chair of UK Sport. She sits on the British Olympic Association’s Athlete Commission, is a member of the Board of the charity International Inspiration and a long-time supporter of Women of the Year.
