Heather Porter

Heather Porter is a British author and women’s health advocate, best known for her book Body Back, a practical guide to post-pregnancy recovery. Based in Dubai, she was named one of Ahlan! Live’s Top 100 Most Influential People in the UAE. She writes on sensitive topics such as miscarriage and postnatal depression.

A dedicated philanthropist, Heather supports causes in health, education, the arts, and children’s welfare. She is Director and Ambassador for The Dot Group and is a Patron of BAFTA, the British Fashion Council Foundation; connecting emerging creative talent globally. A Patron of Quintessentially Foundation and Vice President of the Charity Story of Christmas; specialising in hands-on support and mentorship for Children’s charities. She has worked with institutions like the V&A Museum and the Academy Museum in Los Angeles.

Heather is active in fundraising for charities including the Royal Osteoporosis Society and Global’s Make Some Noise, and is on the Women of the Year Nominations Committee, where she created the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education. A mother of five, she also races annually in the Gumball 3000 Rally.
