Ria Hebden
Ria Hebden is a dynamic Broadcast journalist, award-winning entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for diversity in media who is redefining what leadership looks like in UK media. A Media Champion of the Year, Ria is also the Founder and CEO of Wonder Women—a cultural force accelerating equity for underrepresented women across TV and the creative industries.
Her on-screen career spans the world’s most influential platforms, from BBC One and ITV, to Good Morning America, reporting on defining moments including the King’s Coronation. She has hosted BAFTA Film Awards red carpet coverage for BritBox International and interviewed global icons including Jennifer Aniston, Harrison Ford, Idris Elba and Sigourney Weaver.
Beyond broadcasting, Ria is building systems for lasting change. Through Wonder Women’s year-long mentorship programmes, industry-leading masterclasses and headline-making live events—including the Wonder Women Conference at BAFTA—she is creating new pathways to power for women historically locked out of opportunity.
Before her on-screen career, Ria was a successful publicist for Disney, Discovery, Fox, and Channel 4. She is now a BAFTA voting member, ambassador for MAMA Youth Project and Peer Power Youth, and a British Diversity Award winner. Ria is a TV powerhouse shaping the future of British television.
