At Women of the Year, we believe that incredible women changing the world deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated. We are immensely grateful for our ongoing partnership with ITV’s Lorraine. Year after year, this collaboration allows us to shine a bright spotlight on unsung heroes across the UK, bringing their inspiring stories into millions of homes.
We look back with immense pride at our previous Lorraine award winners—trailblazers who have broken down barriers, overcome immense obstacles, and shown unparalleled compassion to make a lasting difference in their communities. Now, the search is on for our next exceptional winner. Is there a woman in your life who fits the bill?
What makes a Trailblazer?
We are looking for a woman who truly embodies the spirit of this award. Your nominee should be someone who has:
- Dedicated a large amount of time to an organisation, community, or specific group of people.
- Gone above and beyond the call of duty.
- Shown exceptional care, compassion, and kindness. Broken down barriers for the better.
- Overcome obstacles against the odds to make a genuine difference.
The Prize
The chosen winner will be celebrated in style! The prize includes:
- An invitation to attend the prestigious Women of the Year Lunch and Awards Ceremony in October at the Royal Lancaster London.
- Standard class return rail travel (or economy flights if traveling from the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, or the Channel Islands) to London.
- The incredible opportunity to appear live or via a special pre-recorded film on ITV’s Lorraine.
Who can enter?
- Both you (the Nominator) and the person you are nominating (the Nominee) must be UK, Channel Islands, or Isle of Man residents aged 18 or over.
- You cannot nominate yourself; you must nominate someone else.
- Neither you nor the Nominee can be employed or engaged by ITV, any ITV group company or Women of the Year.
- Consent is key: You must have the explicit permission of your Nominee before submitting their details, and they must be aware of our Privacy Policy.
- Availability: The winner must be available to travel to London, attend the Awards, and participate in filming and publicity for Lorraine.

The nomination period opens from the week commencing 29th June 2026 at the time announced on Lorraine and closes at 5pm on 31st August 2026.
