As part of our 60th Anniversary year celebrations, Women of the Year has gathered a panel of the sharpest and funniest female comediennes to delight and entertain our alumnae and guests.
Led by our new president, Sandi Toksvig and council member, Maureen Lipman, the line up consists the line up consists of Jo Brand, Kathy Lette, Meera Syall, Sarah Solemani and Pippa Evans. We’ve invited along a token man, so along with Stephen Mangan, they will all muse and amuse on the subject of ‘Keeping Up Appearances’. Expect bon mots, wordly wisdom, hilarious observation and possibly unexpected answers to all your burning questions (or at least some of them).
The evening of entertainment will take place on Sunday 10 May at 6pm at the Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square London, SW1W 8AS.
Tickets are limited and are only £30 to include the event and a drinks reception to follow, sponsored by our friends Diageo. For tickets please email: enquiries@womenoftheyear.co.uk
The evening is in aid of the Women of the Year Foundation which helps young women both in the UK and around the world, to aspire to their dreams and ambitions. Grants have been made to individual women and organisations – from music therapists to pastry chefs, to inventors, teachers and inspirational young leaders, our funds have been making a difference around the world for the last 15 years. Lives have been changed in Hastings and Afghanistan – and from King’s Cross to Iraq. For more information visit http://womenoftheyear.co.uk/foundation.
