Listen to the new series of our Women of the Year Podcast.

The podcast series shines a light on incredible achievements by women whose passion, dedication and fierce determination has changed society, their communities and the world, in ways that will inspire and uplift you.

The latest episode profiles Julie Siddiqi, a Muslim convert, campaigner and a women’s rights activist with a list of accomplishments so long it would take a whole episode just to go through them all. Among them are Open My Mosque campaign, which fights inequality in UK mosques, and Together We Thrive, an organisation that connects Muslim women to people from all backgrounds.

Other episodes in the new series include interviews with Kate Stanforth, an extraordinary dancer with a disability who established her own dance school, and May Parsons, who administered the world’s first ever Covid-19 vaccine and received the George’s Cross on behalf of the NHS.

You can listen to the podcast series across all platforms.
