We’re delighted to announce that after two years online, the Women of the Year Alumnae Club has returned to Cambridge’s Newnham College.

Titled ‘There is no Blueprint – why lifelong coaching matters for women’, the day’s events consisted of a panel discussion with guest speaker Professor Dame Carol Black. Black – former principal of Newnham College and the first female president of the Royal College of Physicians, and current chair of the British Library, delighted all in attendance as she spoke about her remarkable life and career and the many changes she has navigated.

Accompanied by a panel of experts, including Clare MacGregor, founder of ‘Coaching Inside and Out’, an organisation that helps offenders transform their lives through life coaching, Rav Bumbra, an entrepreneur with more than 20 years in the tech industry, and Annabel Poate-Joyner, a chartered clinical and coaching psychologist with more than 30 years of professional experience, it was wonderful to hear everyone’s thoughts on why lifelong coaching matters to women.

Also present at the event was Julie Etchingham, president of Women of the Year and Newnham Alumna, who chaired the conversation.
