Women of the Year has always championed extraordinary women – and in May, we brought that mission to life in partnership with The 93% Club charity at a vibrant networking evening hosted by RSM.
We were proud to welcome 35 incredible Women of the Year representatives – including alumnae, sponsors, committee and Board members, and even a past award winner. Joining them were 100 inspiring young women aged 18 – 26 from The 93% Club, coming together for an evening that celebrated the power of intergenerational connection among trailblazing women.
The night kicked off with welcome drinks and a lively panel discussion featuring Women of the Year Legal Council and Board member Joanna Luke, Women of the Year Management Committee member Lily Makurah, and Imogen Carr, Head of Community at The 93% Club, expertly moderated by ITV’s Lucrezia Millarini. The panel explored the barriers – and breakthroughs – facing young women today, offering candid, inspiring insights that struck a chord across generations.
Guests then enjoyed a fantastic spread as conversations flowed well into the evening. For many of the younger attendees, it was their very first networking event – made all the more meaningful by the presence of Women of the Year role models who brought warmth, wisdom and encouragement.
